In the Word Together is an online ministry of Kevin W. Bounds. The idea of approaching the Bible in the context of a community was nothing new, but when I implemented a congregation-wide reading plan in 2015, I witnessed the impact of this method. Saints which had been reading the Scriptures for over half a century testified of obtaining a firmer grasp on biblical truths.
After witnessing the effects of reading of Scripture in a group setting, I began to search out a means to continue to allow this congregation to engage the Bible as a group. A plan to aid the goal of being in the Word together. Although many formats were attempted, I found the arrangement of the Narrative Lectionary to be the best suited to publish the story of Scripture. This site is dedicated to achieving this goal and chronicling the journey of a people In the Word Together. Will you join the trip through pages of Holy Scripture?
